I wanted to make sure to drop you a note to express my appreciation for the great service I recently received after calling Ward on the Friday night before the Memorial day weekend. My air conditioner went down on the hottest day of the year to date and an elderly person for whom I was concerned living in the house. After being placed on hold and/or listening to "elevator music" by other companies that promised 24/7 service, I called Ward. Not only did I receive a prompt call back from your service man. Your service department had a series of other emergency service calls that had come in ahead of mine that night. As promised he arrived at my house, which is not easy to find on a dark night in Medford Lakes, he identified the problem and got the outdoor compressor system up and working. What really impressed me however was the fact that having done that, and this was now close to 11pm at the end of what must have been a very long day for him, he performed a "make sure it's right" check by coming into the house and confirming the air flow and output temperatures on all my units. By doing that he identified that a bit more was required than a quick fix to ensure comfortable condition in the house. He stayed until it was right and reliable when he could have easily called it "good enough" and gone home to his family… a mark of a true professional.
At all times Sal informed me what he felt needed to be done, why it needed to be done, and the cost would be, giving me several options. There was no "hard sell". I really felt like a respected customer.
I have already highly recommended Ward to family and friends and they have earned my loyalty as a customer in the future.

On May 27, 2016 Our air conditioner appeared broke!! We originally called Horizon Services and they said their first available appointment was June 13th! What a joke. We found Ward Heating and Cooling online and they came out immediately. He assessed the air conditioner and said it was a capacitor that needed replacing. It cost a total of $230. We were extremely grateful for his prompt responses and it took about 20 minutes to fix! It was like 85 degrees out. Our house was so hot. I know a lot of people automatically go for the company with the commercials on every two seconds but Ward Heating & Cooling really came thru for us and didn't rip us off.

I recently needed to replace my furnace, air conditioning unit and water heater and spoke to representatives of four different companies. Tom Ward was the only person to fully explain my options and the pros and cons of the various pieces of equipment. Also, he was the only person who did not try to oversell me and gave me a reasonable price. The company took care of all the details such as permits, warranty filing, etc…, and even filed for rebates for me. Their quick response for service was also a consideration in contracting Wards.
